That Novelties Issue Again
I nearly forgot to tell you all this before I went to bed.
Do you remember how people keep coming into The Magic Store claiming to have never heard of some of the most popular novelties of all time? Well a gentleman today really took the cake.
He had never heard of fake dog turd.
lol just kidding.
Seriously I had planned to write another post about The Fear Of rejection tonight but I have become engrossed in some old episodes of 'Hustle' season 2 that I found on tape.
I will write it tomorrow. I have a window in between a gig out in Glenn Waverly and bath/ storytime. Speaking of that gig it will be the first time I have tried out my new Tonte routine.
As part of my on going endeavour to make a real showpiece out of everything in my repertoire I bought a big set of these cards recently and have managed to work a Himber wallet and some vanishing money into the routine. I have always wanted to do tonte in my professional work. Ever since I started to dem it at The Magic Store. Similarly, I have always wanted to work in a jumbo card effect because I think that big is best when it comes to props and also that jumbo cards have a lot of comic(among other) value for the layperson. Anyway it seems I have killed two birds with one stone. Let us hope that I do not kill the routine. I will let you know how it goes. Interesting how the original Tonte cards have a display of four queens at the end as opposed to the Royal Flush you get with Tonte Jnr. I would much prefer the Royal Flush in the jumbo set. It would make my story line easier to swallow.
